Plantable stationery contains a clearly identified seed-bearing section. The useful writing life comes first; planting comes after the relevant section is ready to be separated or the pencil becomes too short to use comfortably.
Only plant the section identified in the product instructions. Place it in suitable growing medium, cover as directed, water gently and provide conditions appropriate for the included seed variety.
Germination is a natural process and cannot be guaranteed. Seed viability, depth, moisture, temperature, light and local conditions all matter.
