Vermicompost is an organic material produced through the activity of earthworms and microorganisms. Gardeners commonly use it as one component of a growing medium or as an amendment around established plants.
It is not a complete substitute for understanding drainage, watering, light and the needs of a specific plant. More is not automatically better.
